WorldToursSports arranged for The Southern California Institute of Sport (SCIOS) to be the only American team to participate in the Mediterranean Invitational Cup.
Led by Tournament MVP Tyler Powell from Inglewood SCIOS won the U15 Division. Teams stayed in a 5 Star Resort located in Costa Del Mar, Spain on the Mediterranean Sea. Players, Coaches and parents enjoyed All you can eat meals at the hotel as well as 7 swimming pools and water park.
2018 MEDITERRANEAN INVITATIONAL CUP WorldToursSports secured an invitation for The Southern California Institute of Sport (SCIOS) U18 & U13 teams to participate in the Mediterranean Invitational Cup, one of Europe’s largest basketball event.
SCIOS U13 member, Brysen Matthews, from Houston, Texas, took home the U13 MPV Award. Led by U18 Tournament MVP and McDonalds All American Zaire Williams, SCIOS U18 advanced to the championship game in Girona Spain. The game was played in front of 5500 fans on National Television.
